Kutjevo winery continues to win medals on domestic and world wine competitions

Shortly after conquering three bronze medals and recommendations at the International Wine Challenge, new medals for Kutjevo winery are coming.


At the world's biggest wine contest, the Decanter World Wine Awards in London, more than 270 world best wine experts gathered to evaluate wines from 61 countries. On this occasion, Kutjevo winery won two silver and two bronze medals. The silver won the Graševina de Gotho 2017 and the Graševina premium wine 2017, while the bronze won the Graševina de Gotho 2016 and the new wine from the premium line, Maximo Oro 2016.

Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, which this year held from 10 to 13 May in China, awarded Graševina de Gotho 2016 with a silver medal in the competition of over 9,180 samples from 48 countries rated by more than 330 judges.

Within the Kutjevo Graševina Festival, a wine evaluation was held on which the Kutjevo winery revived again, winning three champions and two large gold diplomas with numerous gold and one silver. In the category of the best-rated young wine in 2017, the champion is Graševina Turković, while the champion of the vintage wines 2016 and the oldest years for the dry Graševina de Gotho harvest in 2016, and the champion of predicat wines is Graševina ice-wine of the harvest 2011. Two large gold diplomas are awarded Graševina ice wine from 2009. and 2011.

With this medal, the winery Kutjevo continued its successes on wine grading. Every prize is worth the great attention of the general public, especially for us, because we are at the doorstep of the world wine stage that really needs to be globally loved by a well-educated wine audience.
