Company history
Papuk is the oldest meat industry of the Požega region, launched as “The Town Butchery”, satisfying the needs of the citizens.
In 1906, a new, then modern butchery was built, paying special attention to hygiene and ventilation.
In 1916, the brothers Nedela built a big slaughterhouse in Požega and open their first butchery on Radić Street, beginning to sell their products throughout the country.
Their company was integrated into PPK Kutjevo when it was founded in 1963.
Today, Papuk is a contemporary company which, apart from manufacturing numerous products from fresh and long-life meat, also provides slaughtering services to the general public, while it also meets all the sanitary and international standards related to meat processing.
